ACP Precision Oncology Workshop 2015

Posted on

The ACP held a one-day workshop on Precision Oncology at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Manchester Piccadilly on Friday 16th October 2015. The meeting was in recognition that new cancer drugs, supported by biomarkers which aid in the selection of treatment, will increasingly come to dominate oncology practice in future.

The day included a mix of overview lectures and case discussions, and also provided the first step towards the preparation and publication of an ACP textbook “Problem Solving through Precision Oncology”. Similar educational meetings will be held annually by the ACP and are free for members to attend.
