National Clinical Excellence Awards for England and Wales 2017 - Now Open
The latest round of National Clinical Excellence Awards has just opened and updated guidance and application forms are provided on the ACCEA website. The ACP, as the specialist society for medical oncology, is registered with the ACCEA as a recognised body for submitting recommendations for national awards. As in previous years paid-up members who can demonstrate a significant contribution to the ACP, and to the specialty of Medical Oncology as a whole, are invited to self-nominate for consideration for support by the ACP. Please note that the ACP, as a specialist society, can only nominate for National Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards (not Platinum).
In addition to submitting an online application to the ACCEA, in order to be considered for ACP support we ask that you submit the same application form(s) by the closing date of 31st March 2017. Please download and save the following form(s) as word documents and email to Alison Norton . AS THE TIMETABLE FOR REVIEW IS VERY TIGHT PLEASE ALSO INCLUDE A CV AND A DRAFT CITATION (MAX 1350 CHARACTERS) TO DEMONSTRATE IN PARTICULAR YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE ACP AND MEDICAL ONCOLOGY. The citations will then be edited and uploaded for those candidates which the ACP is prepared to support (as a specialist society the ACP is only permitted to support a small number of applications).
